Koh Tao Diving – Scuba Junction <2009.4.6>

My last days had come which I spend with 4 final dives with SCUBA JUNCTION.Upfront – I really like the place! There are only small groups, very personal service, they keep thinks relaxed and enjoyable and try to adjust the dives & sites according your skills & wish. Just perfect for experienced divers or people how don`t like the hassle from the big shops.

I signed in for the morning and afternoon dives, which finally lead me to Green Rock and Chumphon– Koh Tao`s most famous dive spots.

You had out about 7:00 in the morning and return about 11:30 for a lunch break.

As I had only 45 min until the afternoon boat left I got me quick snack which I shared with the guardian of my house ;-)

Also the afternoon dives where nice spots, like Japanese Garden (still under the 100 Top Dive Spots in the world; even locals don`t like this place very much) & White Rock, where I visited several times during the night dive.

Thanks to the great eyes of Gae (my instructor) we spot many nudibranches or other small stuff which no one showed me before – that`s exactly the difference between the shops!

If you look too long in the left picture you will see 2 divers on the right one x-)

Now the macro session: Nudibranch & crab

As I was so concentrated in taking Macro pictures I didn`t realized that I swam into the breeding ground of a trigger fish. It didn`t talk long until he made it clear that I am not welcome here, so he started attacking me x-)

No worries – as long you keep calm and swim away horizontally he will just nip of parts of your fins ;-)

That was a great diving day! Thanks to the entire Scuba Junction team! I highly can recommend to everyone looking for a nice team to dive at Koh Tao.

Did you ever asked yourself where I am writing from?
Let me introduce my new office – I think I could get used to it ;-)

This is the end of my first stage of my travel - so I am now sitting here and do my meditation, reflecting my past 2 weeks in Thailand and waiting for enlightenment!

Time to move on to Australia
